About the role
- The responsibilities include collaborating with physician, operating EHR information using Epic system, performing clerical duties such as charting for provider appointments, and maintaining accurate patient data in the electronic file.
- The other duties include, anticipating the needs of the physician to ensure patient care is efficient, effective and in accordance with the core values of the organization.
- Assist provider in maintaining notes during patient visits and documenting them in the electronic health records system.
Responsibilities
- Documents thoroughly and monitors basic lab results and screening procedures.
- Performs other duties and tasks that improves productivity and maintains clinic workflow as assigned.
- Perform clerical duties as assigned.
- Ability to accurately document patient care and transcribe patient appointments
Requirements
- Bilingual English/Spanish required

- Detailed knowledge of medical terminology and the ability to distinguish different exams and medical diagnoses.
- Prior experience with electronic medical records preferred
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent and additional schooling for medical terminology preferred.
