Responsibilities
- The primary purpose of this position is to manage environmental compliance and provide support to all company functions regarding applicable local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Provide environmental regulatory guidance and support for all capital projects and company acquisitions.
- Provide environmental monitoring and remediation project guidance, support and management.
- Effectively manage the environmental compliance team (three employees).
- Develop waste minimization and cost-saving strategies.
- This position manages a team of 3 employees responsible for environmental compliance
Nice to have
- Minimum of 10 years in an industrial or regulatory agency setting in the performance of environmental compliance duties.
- Experience in the chemical industry is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience
- Strong regulatory interpretation and compliance management skills.
- Groundwater remediation experience is preferred.
- Current RCRA and DOT HAZMAT certification is required.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- A degree in engineering, chemistry, or environmental science is preferred.
