About the role
- Education Qualifications - Completion of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program through an accredited organization or on the job training in ultrasound that led to registry.
- Selects transducer and adjusts equipment controls according to organ to be examined, depth of field, and other specifications of test.

Responsibilities
- Demonstrates knowledge of and performs department exam protocols. Explains process to patient, and instructs and assists patient in assuming physical position for examination.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and performs proper high-level disinfection processes for probe care. (If applicable)
- Cardiac Sonographers Perform IV puncture, utilizing proper injection techniques while injecting endocardial border enhancing agents.
- Willingly accepts various work assignments. Is accountable and responsible for own actions/decisions.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Required for All Jobs
- Accurately enters required data into Lumedx (PACS) system.
- Workspace is a quiet and distraction-free allowing the ability to comply with all security and privacy standards.
Nice to have
- Customer service experience.
- Experience in Ultrasound Preferred
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- ARDMS ARDMS-Sonography or CCI-Sonography or ARRT-Sonography are also accepted dependent upon department.
Skills
- Experience utilizing imaging equipment
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- ARDMS ARDMS-Sonography or CCI-Sonography or ARRT-Sonography are also accepted dependent upon department. Required
- Basic Life Support
- BLS Required within 90 days of hire.
Compensation
- Abide by Stormont Vail's Remote Worker Policy and will review and acknowledge the Remote Work Agreement annually.
