About the role

  • This role ensures accuracy and completeness of public title records, tax certifications, attorney opinion letters, vesting, legal descriptions, liens, and judgments in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • The Title Processor - Avenue is responsible for obtaining, reviewing, and validating all documentation necessary to support compliant real estate title transactions.

Requirements

  • All employees are required to have smart phones that meet Company security standards with the ability to install apps such as Microsoft Authenticator.
  • Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work independently and complete assignments within established guidelines.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet-based systems.

  • Obtain and research public title records, tax certifications, and attorney opinion letters.
  • Examine legal descriptions, liens, and judgments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Review tax certifications and attorney opinion letters for completeness and correctness.
  • Act as a liaison between the Company and external clients.
  • Prepare Closing Protection Letters (CPLs).
  • Verify correct underwriter selection and confirm accurate wiring instructions are published in the file.
