Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting in all aspects of engineering design from concept planning to completion for designated projects, specific to the discipline of electrical engineering.
- Review development of design for compliance with engineering standards, practices, and codes.
- Realize product designs through translation of requirements and design specifications, coordinate across departments to ensure project scope is met.
- Support all phases of engineering testing responsibilities and deliverables.
- Perform field inspections as needed.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and effectively work and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of design and construction specifications Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
Requirements
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must have reliable transportation to conduct client site visits.
Nice to have
- The Engineer/Designer will work collaboratively across departments and external suppliers to ensure successful completion of projects.
- Prepare and present technical presentation to internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide mentoring to team members as needed.
- Stay current on engineering developments, technology, materials, trends, and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology Experience designing for commercial/industrial industries preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics and ability to troubleshoot failures.
