Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting in all aspects of engineering design from concept planning to completion for designated projects, specific to the discipline of electrical engineering.
  • Review development of design for compliance with engineering standards, practices, and codes.
  • Realize product designs through translation of requirements and design specifications, coordinate across departments to ensure project scope is met.
  • Support all phases of engineering testing responsibilities and deliverables.
  • Perform field inspections as needed.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and effectively work and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of design and construction specifications Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Must have reliable transportation to conduct client site visits.

  • The Engineer/Designer will work collaboratively across departments and external suppliers to ensure successful completion of projects.
  • Prepare and present technical presentation to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide mentoring to team members as needed.
  • Stay current on engineering developments, technology, materials, trends, and regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology Experience designing for commercial/industrial industries preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics and ability to troubleshoot failures.
