Operate building systems, BAS and FMS to provide specified and reliable environmental conditions and utilities to (but not limited to) production, packaging, laboratory, warehouse and office areas.
Document system conditions as assigned.
Operate equipment on Building Automation Systems.
Document and log equipment and system conditions.
Update alarm tag notes in the system. Document information in the work order system.
Troubleshooting and repair of building systems and equipment.
In coordination with planner and building managers assists to arrange external contractors for shutdown work.

Inform the Manager, Quality and customer of any abnormal conditions and steps taken or required to correct these conditions.
Respond or identify all GMP and business critical alarms within the required time frame.
Troubleshooting building systems and facilities regarding Refrigeration Systems, HVAC, Clean utilities, steam and plumbing in a professional and timely fashion as required.
Able to do repairs as required.
Perform repairs where a specialized license is not required.
Identify and request parts when required to perform the maintenance.
Monitor mechanical rooms for cleanliness and any other abnormal conditions such as leaks and carryout repairs as required.
Determines impact of required work, communicates and co-ordinates major repairs with other trade staff/ contractors and users to minimize service interruption.
Coordinates the required scheduled and unscheduled shutdowns (facility and equipment related) and related work.

Minimum four (4) years Accredited Certificate Program (Valid Ontario Refrigeration Certificate) plus a minimum of four (4) years of previous relevant work experience.
Experience troubleshooting GMP facility equipment.
Experience working in GMP regulated facility and labs.
