Responsibilities

  • Noblis is seeking Software Solution Engineers to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Systems and Surveillance Services directorates within the Program Management Organization (PMO).
  • Employees will provide full software development lifecycle services spanning the design, development, test, and deployment of innovative software solutions with a strong emphasis on user experience, human factors, and software quality to enhance FAA operations.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy computer software solutions.
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by creating documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
  • Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
  • Experience in developing solutions for air traffic management and surveillance systems.
  • Providing current support to FAA ATEPS II (air traffic engineering program support)

Requirements

  • Proficiency in using modern programming languages and tools, including Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Experience with modern software development methodologies such as Agile Scrum and Scaled Agile development.
  • Knowledge of modern cloud and database solutions and platforms.
  • U.S. citizen or green card permanent resident who has resided in the U.S. for 3+ years
  • Must be able to travel as required by the project.
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience with bachelor's degree in in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Information Systems or related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree.
  • Master's degree or MBA in related field may be substituted for bachelor's degree and 3 years' experience.
  • PhD in related field may be substituted for bachelor's degree and 7 years' experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience with bachelor's degree in in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Information Systems or related field.

Compensation

  • Posted Salary Range
  • USD $58,680.00 - USD $218,475.00 /Yr.
