- Parallel Employment Group is hiring a Press Setup Machine Operator for a long-term temporary opportunity with a manufacturing company in Racine, WI.
Responsibilities
- Perform minor press repairs and routine machine maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Requirements
- Must be able to make basic measurements using rulers or calipers.
Nice to have
- In this role, you will be responsible for setting up production presses, monitoring machine performance, and ensuring products meet quality standards throughout each production run.
- Install dies, fixtures, and tooling into production presses.
- Position materials and prepare presses for production.
- Adjust machine settings before and during production runs.
- Reference production samples and work instructions to ensure quality standards are met.
- Move materials throughout the production area as needed.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Complete production paperwork and required recordkeeping.
