Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
4-7 years of experience in budgeting, estimating commercial interiors, retail, core and shell as well as out of the ground construction projects
Working knowledge of Aviation estimating
Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Ability to multi-task while focusing on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
Ability to work well under pressure of bid deadlines
Ability to value engineer to best meet the goals of the project
Ability to work with cross functional teams

Estimators work closely with consultants, contractors, accountants, and operations personnel to provide the most accurate and comprehensive financial and budget analysis.
This role is responsible for deciding the projected time frame needed to complete a project in addition to critical factors such as labor needs, materials, budgets, and any potential setbacks that may arise.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Initiate prequalification process of all subcontractors
Accurately level all subcontractor bids and review to select the most cost-effective option
