About the role
- McKenzie Craft is a luxury custom fabrication firm in Miami producing architectural millwork and casework for hospitality, retail, and luxury residential clients.
- Recent projects include Viceroy, Waldorf Astoria, Ritz Carlton, Casamar, Pier Sixty-Six, and SLS.
- We operate out of a 25,000 sq ft converted 1938 warehouse in Miami, Fl.
Responsibilities
- Prepare GAAP financial statements and lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes
- Manage cash flow, rolling forecasts, working capital, AR, AP, retainage, and billing cycles
- Partner with the CEO and outside CPA on budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Conduct variance analysis and build financial dashboards and KPI tracking systems
- Maintain internal controls, approval workflows, segregation of duties, and audit-ready documentation
- Lead and develop the finance team, oversee payroll, and own the integrity of accounting systems
- Drive automation, process improvement, and reporting standardization
- Lead the financial backbone of a high-end custom fabrication shop, with a clear path to Director of Finance and CFO.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of accounting or financial management experience
- Strong QuickBooks experience required
- Prior ERP system experience required
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and job costing methodologies
Nice to have
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
- Manufacturing industry experience required.
- Millwork, construction, or subcontractor trade a strong plus
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of leadership experience preferred
