About the role

  • McKenzie Craft is a luxury custom fabrication firm in Miami producing architectural millwork and casework for hospitality, retail, and luxury residential clients.
  • Recent projects include Viceroy, Waldorf Astoria, Ritz Carlton, Casamar, Pier Sixty-Six, and SLS.
  • We operate out of a 25,000 sq ft converted 1938 warehouse in Miami, Fl.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare GAAP financial statements and lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes
  • Manage cash flow, rolling forecasts, working capital, AR, AP, retainage, and billing cycles
  • Partner with the CEO and outside CPA on budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
  • Conduct variance analysis and build financial dashboards and KPI tracking systems
  • Maintain internal controls, approval workflows, segregation of duties, and audit-ready documentation
  • Lead and develop the finance team, oversee payroll, and own the integrity of accounting systems
  • Drive automation, process improvement, and reporting standardization
  • Lead the financial backbone of a high-end custom fabrication shop, with a clear path to Director of Finance and CFO.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 to 10 years of accounting or financial management experience
  • Strong QuickBooks experience required
  • Prior ERP system experience required
  • Deep knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and job costing methodologies

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
  • Manufacturing industry experience required.
  • Millwork, construction, or subcontractor trade a strong plus
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of leadership experience preferred
