About the role

ITnova is seeking a skilled H-1 Avionics Technician to join our aviation maintenance team supporting mission-critical rotary-wing aircraft operations. This position is responsible for inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying aircraft electrical and avionics systems to ensure optimal performance and mission readiness. The ideal
candidate has a strong background in military or commercial aircraft avionics, is proficient in diagnosing complex electrical and avionics system issues, and is committed to delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality maintenance in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

Perform aircraft maintenance to include inspection, operational test, repair, and modification of aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
Maintain familiarity with operational capabilities and limitations of electrical and avionics systems.
Perform troubleshooting and rewiring of complex avionics and electrical system discrepancies and modifications.

Minimum of 3 years aviation avionics experience.
Minimum of 1 year in a primary MOS from OccFld 632X Avionics, an equivalent skill designation from another service, or completion of and certification through an aviation electronics school.
Must be able to meet any Government and company licensing or qualification requirements for the position.
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a background check and obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Must have and maintain a Secret Clearance
Must be able to lift and maneuver 50 pounds.
A ble to pass a fit-for-work physical and/or drug test as required.
Must be able to work in areas that require awkward posturing, bending, kneeling, squatting, and working overhead.
Must be able to work at height in the hangar and on the flight line, as required.
A ble to man and perform flight line extinguisher duties, as required.
