About the role

  • Future Standard is currently seeking talent with strong quantitative, qualitative, and interpersonal skills for an Associate position on the Future Standard Digital Infrastructure ("FSDI") team (formerly Post Road Group).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct due diligence on existing and prospective investments, and play a lead role in the quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Build, maintain, and stress-test detailed financial models and valuation analyses to support investment decisions

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate is "plug and play" and able to contribute meaningfully from day one
  • Ability to underwrite and conduct due diligence on direct investment opportunities, including formulating due diligence plans and quantitative data requests
  • 1-3+ years of relevant investment experience, with a strong preference for direct investing experience - both credit and equity are ideal, though not required. The ideal candidate is "plug and play" and able to contribute meaningfully from day one
  • Significant financial modeling experience and strong valuation skills, as well as exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Able to be in person in Stamford, CT office 5 days per week
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial, self-starter mentality, comfortable owning significant responsibility on a small, collaborative team
  • Strong academic credentials, including a BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting

Nice to have

  • Digital infrastructure experience strongly preferred - data centers, fiber, towers, telecom services, or related sectors
