About the role
- Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, employees, medical staff, and hospital property.
- Monitors hospital premises, patrols assigned areas, responds to security incidents, assists during emergencies, and helps enforce hospital policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service.
- Participates in emergency preparedness activities, drills, and disaster response efforts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Current Montana Private Security Guard License required
- Valid MT driver's license required.
- Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations and assist with disruptive or combative individuals when necessary.
- Ability to de-escalate tense situations safely and professionally.
- Current BLS certification required
- Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations.
- Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.
