Develop electrical design packages, including one-line diagrams, panel schedules, wiring diagrams, conduit and raceway layouts, equipment layouts, and construction specifications for power conditioning, pulsed power, high-voltage, and high-power electronic systems.
Work with program and facility stakeholders to define requirements, identify equipment power needs, and translate them into conceptual and detailed electrical designs.
Perform engineering analyses and calculations, including load studies, voltage drop, short-circuit, protective device coordination, grounding, and insulation coordination.
Support the design and integration of specialized systems for electron beam applications, beam transport, vacuum heater power, and high-voltage ion attraction systems.
Support detailed design activities, including drawings, specifications, bills of material, and engineering documentation, while coordinating with fabrication, procurement, and installation teams.
Support electrical engineering efforts across planning, design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, turnover, and operational support.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.

$146,340 - $222,564 Annually
$146,340 - $185,544 Annually for SES.2 Level
$175,530 - $222,564 Annually for SES.3 Level
This is the lowest to highest salary in good faith we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
Pay will not be below any applicable local minimum wage.
An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
