About the role
- JOB TITLE: QA/QC- Process Piping - CWI SUMMARY: Quality Control inspection and associated documentation of Process Piping systems within a cleanroom environment.
- Review and approval of Quality Plans, ITPs, PQR, WPS, WPQ, inspection procedures, records for installed pipe which would include weld map log, PMI, slope checks, and traceability logs, and other associated records of installed pipe.
- Inspections of mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies for alignment and proper functioning, prepare reports and notify appropriate people of equipment problems and deficiencies, ensure compliance with codes and standard.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for verifying that all inspectors under the subcontractors for this project are qualified to perform the inspections they are tasked with in accordance with the project specifications.
- Perform periodic quality checks for all welding performed to ensure that the welding procedures submitted to the contractor are being followed.
- Verify that all welders are certified to perform the work they are assigned in accordance with the project specifications and the welder qualification list.
