About the role

  • About the Opportunity Job Description The Project Manager is the key liaison between the University, consultants and contractors.
  • The Project Manager will oversee procurement of services, project administration, determining of scope, administering contracts, resolving of conflicts and in the assurance of the work being completed on time and on budget of contract.
  • Direct the forecast and adjustment of resources to ensure projects and programs are delivered as promised.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and prioritize programs/projects according to relevant measurement criteria.
  • Partner with Director of Work Management to develop metrics that provide meaningful data to validate expected outcomes and develop recommendations to provide corrective action.
  • The Project Manager performs primary responsibilities personally or through administrative and technical assistants, and other project personnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.
  • and a minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years related experience in construction, architecture, and/or project management.
  • Possess the ability to work independently in difficult and complex tasks;
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills the ability to clearly articulate and communicate to diverse groups including faculty, academic administration, management and others;
  • Must possess ability to organize and prioritize workload, be pro-active in identifying project needs/requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university
  • Strong, documented skills in the areas of organization, problem-solving and personal interactions
  • Self-motivated with sound decision-making skills
  • This position may have supervisory responsibilities as defined by the project scope, including administrative staff, assistant project managers, and other personnel.

Compensation

  • $87,785.00 - $123,998.75
  • With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role.
