About the role
- Title: Ophthalmic Technician Company: Retina Associates of Kentucky Location: Lexington, KY Travel: You will regularly travel to our other offices within 2 hours of Lexington.
- Please only apply if you are willing to travel on a regular basis.
- You may need to work a little earlier/later as needed.
Requirements

Nice to have
- Current Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) certification is preferred, but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

- An Ophthalmic Technician is a valuable asset to an Ophthalmologist as they assist in providing excellent patient care to the patients during their visit.
- This employee is able to handle a wide range of duties while using equipment to perform the initial testing needed to prepare a patient for an exam with an Ophthalmologist.
- Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter (in person or via phone)
- Practice urgency at all times with patient's time, as well as doctor's time and schedule
