About the role

Install, set up, follow PM schedule, and calibrate test equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with testing equipment
Proactively identify areas of improvement through equipment procurement and automation

Work with engineers and technicians to build and assemble custom Lucid test fixtures and wire harnesses
Organize and maintain the battery lab space, equipment, and inventory
Help manage parts inventory and organization

We are currently seeking a test technician to support the testing infrastructure needs of the battery cell team.

Experience setting up and maintaining lab equipment (environmental chambers, power supplies, plumbing, pneumatics)
A basic understanding of lithium-ion battery safety and electrical hazards
Solid understanding of basic mechanical skills, machine shop tools, and safety
Basic electrical knowledge/skill including fine pitch soldering and crimping
