About the role

  • Obtains pertinent information from other facilities at the request of the attending MD's for further care of patients in the Emergency Department.
  • Answers call lights and coordinates with nursing staff to meet the needs of the patient.
  • Monitors security cameras and responds to access request into the the emergency department.

  • If no formal education we will require 1 year experience or training in a hospital or clinic setting as a health unit coordinator, medical secretary, or medical receptionist.
  • Associate's degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
