About the role
- Overview NaphCare is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to work weekends on Saturdays and Sundays in Des Moines, IA.
- Join our team of healthcare professionals providing comprehensive medical care for individuals currently incarcerated at Polk County Jail.
- This position offers a rewarding opportunity to positively impact a diverse patient population with complex healthcare needs.
Responsibilities
- Conducting physical examinations, developing treatment plans and monitoring patients Managing acute and chronic conditions such as asthma, hypertension, and diabetes.
- Providing direct patient care, triaging, assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and coordinating services.
