About the role
- Your Opportunity as a (Technical) Maintenance Supervisor Supervise and train maintenance personnel in the upkeep of existing equipment and the installation of new equipment.
- Plan and direct engineering and maintenance activities for a work shift.
- Focus on meeting standards for quality, productivity, downtime, and defects.
Responsibilities
- Direct and deploy technical resources to repair or maintain equipment
- Build mastery level skills in advanced technicians, advanced technical skills in equipment owners, and basic technical and trouble-shooting skills in all technicians
- Create necessary PMs and SOPs to properly maintain equipment and enable resources to execute work
- Collaborate with Area Leaders, Process Engineers, and Coordinators in the development of work plans that maximize sanitation and startup effectiveness and efficiency
Requirements
- 1 year of relevant experience supervising technical/maintenance individuals
- 2 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Prior experience in food manufacturing
- Flexibility required.
- Regularly required to talk and hear.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
