About the role
- This position provides quality occupational therapy services set by state practice guidelines, Medicare and assigned area(s) policies and procedures.
- Meets legal, ethical and institutional standards while adhering to the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of the department and Logan Health.

Responsibilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans and support patients throughout each stage of recovery.
Requirements
- One of the following is required:
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program with the ability to obtain a Montana Occupational Therapist license within thirty (30) days of hire.
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles, treatment techniques, materials, equipment, processes, and procedures.
- Ability to demonstrate integrity, kindness, and empathy when working with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn additional software and clinical documentation systems as needed.
- Current Montana Occupational Therapist license
- Additional requirements include:
- RQI Provider certification in Basic Life Support within seven (7) days of hire or transfer, or before providing independent patient care, whichever occurs first.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to establish priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism, tact, and discretion.
Nice to have
- Certified Hand Therapist certification.
- Experience providing hand therapy and upper-extremity rehabilitation.
- Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation setting.
- Job-Specific Duties
- Provides occupational therapy treatment for patients with hand, upper-extremity, and orthopedic conditions.
- Completes timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and Montana occupational therapy practice requirements.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, peers, students, providers, and interdisciplinary team members regarding occupational therapy services and patient progress.
- Meets established productivity and quality standards in accordance with departmental expectations.

- Logan Health Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or an Occupational Therapist with experience in hand therapy and upper-extremity rehabilitation to join our fast-paced outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation team.
- This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with orthopedic surgeons and an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team while providing individualized, evidence-based care throughout every stage of recovery.
