About the role
- HealthPRO Pediatrics is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-person services to a K-12 student population throughout Kent County Public Schools.
- This position begins with the 2026-2027 school year (August 24, 2026) and offers the opportunity to work within a smaller school district known for its collaborative, student-centered approach.

Responsibilities
- Maintains clean work area, clean treatment rooms and requests needed supplies.
- Maintains professional appearance and personal conduct at all times.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with co-workers and other professionals as it relates to collaboration of care for the patient.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Supportive Team Environment Collaborate with educators, families, and fellow therapy professionals in a welcoming, multidisciplinary setting focused on student success.
- This position performs highly responsible work that will promote quality patient care and efficiency.
- The speech therapist will also collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including physicians, psychologists, therapists, BCBAs, school staff, and parents to provide holistic services.
- Promptly and thoroughly documents and maintains clinical and administrative records regarding patient limitations/interventions, treatments, responses and progress to administered therapy as well as discharge summaries.

- Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to urgent/emergent situations per protocols.
- Ability to communicate with a high degree of written and verbal communication skills Demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
