About the role
- Provide geometric models to engineering disciplines for downstream analysis (e.g. aerodynamic CFD simulations, Finite Element Modeling, Mass analysis, systems spatial integration and separation checks).
Nice to have
- Ability to convert conceptual sketches, drawings, and specifications from engineers into detailed 3D CAD models and drawings.
- Meticulousness in checking model completeness, accuracy, and adherence to industry standards, regulations, and project guidelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative environment and individually.
- Expertise in modern parametric CAD modeling techniques that allow for robust geometric definitions.
- Experience with 3D Experience PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software.
Skills
- This will include a variety of surface types from simple shapes to carefully defined fairings.
