About the role
- The Supplier Quality Engineer Intern will gain exposure and experience in a global procurement organization supporting current and future programs.
Responsibilities
- Offers support as a liaison between the plant community, Purchasing, Engineering, the rest of Operations, and suppliers to contain, identify, and resolve supplier quality issues and to provide technical support.
- Provides, as needed, support for formal 8D containment, root cause, and corrective action documentation.
- Supports investigation of supplier quality problems and coordinates implementation of effective and timely resolutions.
- Support part qualification processes
- Building cities.
Requirements
- Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
- Analytical ability to solve complex problems.
- In this role the intern will work closely with suppliers to ensure components and their manufacturing processes meet our required standards.
