Responsibilities
- Define and own the cloud solutions architecture strategy, ensuring scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-efficient platform solutions.
- Design and govern cloud-native architectures using AWS services and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation).
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Security, Platform Operations, and Architecture teams to define and execute the technical roadmap.
- Lead complex cloud solutions initiatives, modernization programs, migrations, and platform transformation projects.
- Drive continuous improvement of cloud platform reliability, observability, automation, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Support critical production environments, participate in architectural reviews, and provide technical leadership during major incidents and post-incident improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for optimization across cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform services.
- Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDP), platform engineering capabilities, and developer self-service solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Cloud Solutions Architecture with significant experience leading large-scale cloud initiatives.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, and/or CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, networking, encryption, disaster recovery, and defense-in-depth principles.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with observability platforms, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and/or relevant AWS certifications are highly desirable.
