About the role
- We're looking for an Electrical Estimator that will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical construction projects.
- Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates based on project phase and available information.
- Identify scope gaps, overlaps, exclusions, and potential project risks during the estimating process.

- This role analyzes drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop detailed pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted scopes while supporting preconstruction and project teams throughout the bid process.
- Develop complete project estimates including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and indirect costs.
- Develop clarifications and qualifications to support accurate bid submissions and reduce exposure.
- Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives while maintaining system performance and quality standards.
- Maintain strong working relationships with vendors and subcontractors to support competitive bidding efforts.
- Support preconstruction planning and coordination activities with operations and project management teams.
Nice to have
- Three to seven years of electrical estimating or electrical field experience.
- Strong understanding of commercial and industrial electrical systems.
- Proficiency with estimating software such as Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, or similar platforms.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related estimating tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
