About the role

We're looking for an Electrical Estimator that will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical construction projects.
Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates based on project phase and available information.
Identify scope gaps, overlaps, exclusions, and potential project risks during the estimating process.

This role analyzes drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop detailed pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted scopes while supporting preconstruction and project teams throughout the bid process.
Develop complete project estimates including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and indirect costs.
Develop clarifications and qualifications to support accurate bid submissions and reduce exposure.
Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives while maintaining system performance and quality standards.
Maintain strong working relationships with vendors and subcontractors to support competitive bidding efforts.
Support preconstruction planning and coordination activities with operations and project management teams.

Three to seven years of electrical estimating or electrical field experience.
Strong understanding of commercial and industrial electrical systems.
Proficiency with estimating software such as Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, or similar platforms.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related estimating tools.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
