- Reporting to the Sales Operation Manager, the Sr Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for primarily supporting the North American Sales Team.
- include managing sales data, reporting and analyzing selling activities and outcomes, and working closely with IT to ensure accurate data flows.
Responsibilities
- Support weekly and monthly standard work associated with sales growth bridges, partner rebates, and sales incentive plans
- Build and maintain current PowerBI reports, as well as create new ones to support commercial programs.
- Support and develop implementation of tools for use by the Sales team to understand and simulate program performance.
- Other duties assigned to support business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field, 5+ years of relevant business experience in Sales Support, Finance, IT, or Data Management roles.
- Ability to understand data joins and manipulate multiple data sources in SQL, Access, PowerBI, MS Dynamics, etc.
- Significant experience with data analytics and working with large data sets.
- Management/ownership of underlying data required to execute programs.
- Support design and analysis of future programs and program changes as required.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
- Effectively learn and understand ESAB's systems and data flows.
- Advanced database skills, including writing queries and reports in MS Access, SQL, and/or PowerBI.
- Capable of researching, understanding, and communicating issues with data, reporting, and system outputs.
- Experience building or migrating ERP systems and their data structures.
- Strong verbal communication skills
- comfortable communicating over the phone and in person with sales team members and leaders.

Nice to have
- Experience with Master Data Management preferred.
- SAP experience preferred
- Adaptable to changes in shifting organizational priorities and strategies.
- Skilled at communicating quantitative information to individuals unfamiliar with data and system intricacies.
- Advanced planning and prioritization skills.
- Understanding of financial reporting and finance data preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Openness to new ideas and solutions
