About the role

  • CRB is a privately held company with a rich history of serving clients throughout the world, consistently striving for the highest standard of technical knowledge, creativity and execution.
  • This individual operates with significant independence and minimal supervision as the principal project representative and will meet with senior corporate management, both internally and externally.
  • The Project Director must work cooperatively with business unit client representatives and all CRB business units, including safety, quality, engineering, procurement, estimating, project controls, and CQV.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the CRB team and the owner through Business Case Alignment and Chartering Phases
  • Lead PEP Development
  • Partners with preconstruction group to plan the project for success (e.g., constructability, procurement, logistics planning, scope reviews, budgeting and costing).
  • Ensure all pertinent logistics are incorporated into the phasing, design, and construction plans.
  • Develops, manages, and maintains schedules and timelines.
  • Develops, monitors, tracks, and negotiates project costs to ensure projects are successful and profitable.
  • Lead team to create a coordinated procurement plan including LLE, Trade Partners and Subcontractors, enabling work, etc.
  • Encourage the team to develop ETOP early in the project to ensure timely delivery upon project completion, i.e., plan the closeout at the beginning, not at the end.
  • Lead estimate development and facilities reviews and input. Control scope creep / "nice to haves."
  • Spot-check quality documents, field reports, and logs for completeness and accuracy.
