- Your Impact at LILA Lila Sciences is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op to join our Hardware and Controls (HCE) - Mechanical team this summer.

Responsibilities
- Design and engineer components ranging from bench-scale robotics to full-size lab automation workcells, using knowledge of mechanical system design.
- Work with cross-functional teams on CAD design and analysis.
- Create and test engineered solutions using 3D printing and other fabrication methods.
- Support assembly and build processes with guidance from senior engineers.
- Ability to balance input and collaborate across multiple teams or stakeholders.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
- Experience with SolidWorks CAD design (Parts and Assemblies) or similar parametric 3D CAD software.
- Experience with designing parts for specific fabrication techniques (Milling, Lathing, Sheet Metal, 3D Printing).
- Experience with robotics, industrial controls, electrical engineering, or automation software/programming.
- Experience with SolidWorks PDM.
