- Job Description: Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Mechanic at the Prince George's County Organics Composting Facility (OCF) located in Upper Marlboro, MD.
Responsibilities
- This position performs installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment used to support facility operations and a variety of environmental projects.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.
- Any offer of employment will be contingent upon successfully completing required pre-employment screens, to include full background check, drug & alcohol screening, and position appropriate physical.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Nice to have
- Graduation from a standard high school or possession of GED equivalency certificate plus three years of experience performing installation, repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
Compensation
- $50,233.92 - $69,070.88
- Eleven paid holidays per year
