About the role
- The Distribution Team is the first point of contact for DC staff when the DC Manager is not at the location.
- This role handles the coordination and preparation of all out-going shipments for each day while ensuring order accuracy and maintaining good customer service.
- Key Relationships Interacts on a daily basis with Sales/Customer Service staff.
Requirements
- Employee may be required to perform a moderate level of specific tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, muscular action, body movements, working positions, posture changes, visual attentiveness.
- Employee will be required to wear protective eyewear, appropriate gloves, safety shoes, and/or other.
Skills
- Minimum two years in a supervisory role;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills;
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office;
- Management Development program, WHIMIS, First Aid and knowledge of IPEX products preferred.
