About the role

  • Inspect base materials, joint preparation, fit-up, welding processes, and completed welds.
  • Serve as a technical resource to welding, production, engineering, and quality personnel.
  • Participate in root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Our core competencies include systems engineering, program management, logistics, production support, aircraft maintenance, and aviation/aerospace services.
  • This role partners with production, engineering, and quality teams to support compliance, continuous improvement, and defect prevention.
  • Maintain inspection reports, weld records, and material traceability documentation.
  • Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits and inspections.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding inspection, fabrication, or quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of common welding processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Proficiency with inspection tools and measuring equipment.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Nice to have

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Welding Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications such as API, ASNT NDT Level II, or CSWIP.
  • Experience welding aluminum a plus Experience working in regulated, audited, or customer-driven environments.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including accurate data entry and report completion.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, tools, and technologies.
