About the role
- This role involves working with our mining operations, consulting teams running field programs, and other groups in the broader EVR team.
- This role also offers a combination of field and office work, allowing diversity in your everyday tasks.
- You will also be responsible for supporting data management initiatives, including quality assurance and control, liaison with analytical laboratories, and compliance reporting.
Responsibilities
- Support management of data quality from field collection to reporting. This includes supporting field teams in data naming procedures and working closely with multiple laboratories to confirm accurate reports for upload to database.
- Provide technical, administrative, and project management support, as well as contractor supervision
- Participate in, and supervise, monitoring and other sampling programs to support regulatory commitments and requirements.

Requirements
- Minimum two years of experience in the field of environmental compliance or monitoring
- Diploma or Degree in Environmental Studies, Earth Sciences (Biology, Geography, Geology, Forestry, Agriculture), or Natural Resource field
- Experience with environmental data management software (GIS/EQuIS) is an asset
- Familiarity with provincial and federal environmental legislation an asset.
- Successful candidates must be willing to satisfy the pre-employment requirements of a pre-employment drug screen and three professional references.
