- As an ELA Teacher, you will co-advise a class of approximately 27 students alongside a Math/Science Teacher, sharing responsibility for both academic success and strong classroom culture.
- Reinforce social-emotional skills by intentionally embedding them into classroom instruction, routines, and daily interactions with students.
- Qualifications: Demonstrates an unwavering belief that all students can meet and exceed grade-level academic standards.
Responsibilities
- At Veritas Prep, Middle School English Language Arts Teachers play a critical role in ensuring all students develop the literacy, and academic confidence they need to thrive in high school, college, and beyond.
- You will plan and deliver rigorous, engaging instruction in reading, and writing that ensure every student-regardless of background-can access grade-level standards and produce high-quality work.
- In partnership with your co-advisor, you will build a joyful, structured classroom community where students of all identities feel safe, valued, challenged, and supported to meet ambitious goals.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Students can earn up to an associate degree for free, and the general studies associate degree from STCC means students enter as JUNIORS at any Massachusetts public college or university after high school graduation.
Nice to have
- One to three years of teaching experience preferred.
- Massachusetts DESE Elementary Licensure Preferred, or eligibility to achieve
Compensation
- Keep in mind, the above range is the full base salary range for this position.
- Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.

- Veritas Prep offers competitive salaries and comprehensive benefit packages that include the following: Salary Range for this position is $58,000 - $100,000, exclusive of fringe benefits.
- If hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience.
