About the role

  • Goodwin is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and detail-oriented Senior Billing Administrator to join our dynamic law firm.

Responsibilities

  • perform revisions as per attorney or legal assistant instructions while keeping with firm policy
  • Utilize accounting software and billing programs (aderant) as well as MS Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook to perform duties and
  • Process complex legal billing accurately and efficiently in accordance with client fee agreements (i.e., multiple discounts by matter, split-party billing, preparation of electronic bills, etc.); perform revisions as per attorney or legal assistant instructions while keeping with firm policy; finalize and post invoices in firm's financial software.
  • perform at high levels in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment and successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage a full workload with a keen attention to detail, efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of legal billing and e-billing experience in a law firm or other professional services environment

Nice to have

  • Experience with financial/billing software packages and Finance/Accounting organizational operations.
  • Aderant billing system experience preferred.
  • Experience with electronic billing transmission on a variety of e-billing platforms, BillBlast experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • strong knowledge of Excel preferred.
