About the role
- The Financial Operations Manager will oversee, enhance, or operate the "quote to cash" operations, including order and contract management, resource planning, invoicing, and receivables.
- This role involves driving continuous process improvements, conducting financial analyses to evaluate profitability, and identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) for success.
- Directly supervises the Financial Analyst and offshoring personnel, as determined.
Responsibilities
- Develop best practices and strategic initiatives for future growth.
- Analyze historical and current job/project profitability at the individual project level; develop and track KPIs including margin, revenue per resource, and billing efficiency to measure project financial success and identify underperforming accounts.
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and create actionable strategic plans.
- Maintain a resource planning system and integrate project schedules into weekly resource plans to meet utilization goals.
- Maintain and improve processes and tools utilized to generate quotes.
- Prepare and maintain annually all MSA's and time and materials contracts for review by management.
