About the role

  • Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments to identify potential improvements or modifications to existing control systems.

Responsibilities

  • Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
  • Develop and design low voltage control systems for SF6 insulated circuit breakers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, electrical engineers, and mechanical designers, to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support production staff to address technical questions, modify drawings/ BOMs as necessary, and ensure production has all necessary information to operate as planned.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in the selection of components, such as relays, sensors, and controllers, to optimize system performance.
  • Offer technical support to internal and external stakeholders, including customers and field service teams, to address inquiries and troubleshoot issues.

Nice to have

  • High voltage and Dead tank circuit breaker knowledge Minimum of 1 year in ECAD software and AutoCAD Strong Microsoft Excel experience Experience in project management, planning, activity follow-up.
  • Experience in MS Office software including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Experience working cooperatively and effectively in a team environment.

Compensation

  • Relocation Assistance Provided: No For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $80,000.00 and $120,000.00.

  • Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
