Responsibilities
- Lead and manages the Enterprise Project/Portfolio Management Office ( GTPMO ) Operations.
- Develops and facilitates enterprise Project and Portfolio Management processes and reporting.
- Leads and manages selected Enterprise PMO operations and/or services.
- Manages staff, assemble project teams, assigns individual responsibilities, provides training, and develop project schedules.
Requirements
- Highly advanced people management skills, demonstrating an ability to lead, mentor and develop associates. required
- Advanced interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to lead and mentor support staff. required
- Education:
- Work Experience:
- 10+ Years running or operating within PMO function as well as operations and support of an enterprise application / platform. preferred
- Licenses and Certifications
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent experience required
- Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) and/or LOMA certification preferred
- 10+ Years experience in project management, portfolio management, and resource management. required
- 5+ Years management experience. required Direct experience in leading a PMO build out and managing/running a PMO. required
- Application Portfolio management experience preferred
- Previous experience managing large international, global projects.
- Effective management of projects with virtual teams preferred
- Six Sigma / Lean Process Evaluation / Improvement Preferred

- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. required
- Advanced knowledge of broad business and finance related practices. required
- Proficient in systems operations and project management methodologies and possesses the ability to disseminate them to the team. required
- Excellent planning and organizational skills. required
- Insurance and/or reinsurance industry knowledge preferred
- Enhance portfolio prioritization, reporting, and operational processes to improve decision-making and transparency.
- Provides the RGA Project Management methodology on-boarding orientation for all Project Managers.
Compensation
- $126,710.00 - $188,840.00 Annual
- Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location.
- In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan.
