About the role
- The welder position will have expertise in MIG Welding techniques, by focusing on the assembly of components, parts, and structures as specified by prints, layouts and/or jigs and fixtures.
- Positions parts in jigs or fixtures on bench or floor, or clamps parts together along layout marks.
- Lays out, positions, and tack welds work pieces.
Requirements
- MIG Welding experience is required
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to pass all EHS requirements
- The employee must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of basic math, tape measure reading preferred
- Experience in a fast-paced production environment preferred
