About the role

  • Role: DevOps Engineer Location: 4 Days onsite Columbus, Ohio Job Description Overview We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and optimize our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability ecosystem. This role focuses on Azure DevOps, Terraform‑based infrastructure, containerization, and Kubernetes, with strong emphasis on
  • monitoring, logging, and system reliability. Key Responsibilities Azure DevOps Pipelines - Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines supporting application deployments and infrastructure automation. Infrastructure as Code - Use Terraform to provision, manage, and scale cloud resources, including containerized workloads and Kubernetes clusters.

Responsibilities

  • Azure DevOps Pipelines - Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines supporting application deployments and infrastructure automation.
  • Infrastructure as Code - Use Terraform to provision, manage, and scale cloud resources, including containerized workloads and Kubernetes clusters.
  • Containerization & Kubernetes - Implement and support container orchestration, ensuring seamless integration between software and underlying hardware.
  • Observability & Monitoring - Manage and enhance the observability stack using tools such as Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, and Grafana.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration - Partner with development, QA, and platform teams to ensure smooth delivery and operational excellence.
  • CI/CD - Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Terraform for IaC and environment provisioning.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) for automation and tooling.

Nice to have

  • Container Security.
  • Knowledge of container security best practices and vulnerability scanning.
  • Monitoring Architecture.
  • Experience designing dashboards, SLIs/SLOs, and alerting strategies.
  • Performance Optimization.
  • This role focuses on Azure DevOps, Terraform‑based infrastructure, containerization, and Kubernetes, with strong emphasis on monitoring, logging, and system reliability.
  • Logging & Alerting - Configure log pipelines, dashboards, and alerting rules to ensure system reliability and rapid incident response.
