- JOB DESCRIPTION The Senior Data Engineer will lead data engineering initiatives for high-priority projects.
- MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and managing advanced data pipelines and architecture to support high-level government objectives.
- Working directly on classified projects, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and securing data flows and employing your expertise in cloud-based solutions and data engineering tools.

Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Advanced degrees are a plus.
Skills
- Make an impact by advancing the Department of War's mission to keep our country safe and secure.
- Python Regular Expression scripting SQL: Preference for PostgreSQL and TSQL.
- Git Docker Trino Familiarity with Kubernetes and Helm charts.
- Deploying software in Kubernetes with Argo.
- Airflow NIFI ElasticSearch and AWS OpenSearch Working in a Linux environment.
- Candidates without this clearance will not be considered.
- Certifications: Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Google Cloud Platform Role
Compensation
- This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
- Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
