Responsibilities
- Support waste processing activities including inspection, weighing, consolidation, and treatment methods such as neutralization or solidification.
- Maintain accurate records in tracking systems and databases.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work and storage areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide basic waste handling guidance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- In this role, you will work closely with radiation safety and production teams to support critical waste management functions.
Requirements
- Experience in industrial, environmental, lab, or regulated environments OR relevant coursework/training.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and detailed procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Experience with hazardous, radioactive, or mixed waste.
- Experience in manufacturing, lab, or nuclear environments.
- Experience working in controlled or hot cell environments.
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds.
Skills
