Requirements

  • Mix paint with the appropriate thinner as required for correct spraying viscosity.
  • Replace filters and clean the spray booth, dry-off, gel, or curing ovens as required.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members.
  • Familiarity with high-precision coating environments, including automated powder systems, electrostatic systems, or specialized pretreatment processes.

Nice to have

  • Must be able to successfully pass a respiratory physical.
  • Must be able to occasionally move equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Must be able to ascend/descend stairs.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.

Skills

  • Good eye/hand coordination, finger dexterity, and color sensitivity to achieve an uncompromised high-quality finish.
  • Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and mil-spec requirements.

  • We're looking for a skilled Industrial Painter to join our growing 2nd shift team at our advanced Jel finishing plant in Chelmsford, MA.
  • In this role, you'll be responsible for spraying a variety of parts to precise tolerances and specifications using different types of paint.

  • Compensation Range: $20.00 - $31.00 / hour
  • Schedule: First Shift | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM | Monday to Friday
