About the role
- Job Description: Key Roles and Responsibilities 60% - Supervisory and Training Duties - Supervise daily operation of husbandry and housekeeping duties in the animal facility.
- 30% - Husbandry - Conduct animal health observations.
- Complete animal care assignments according to standard operating procedures. - Feed and water animals.
Requirements
- 4 Years of experience in biological sciences, agricultural sciences, or animal science and some animal experience.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, agricultural sciences, or animal science.
- ALAT certification.
- CMAR certification.
- Laboratory Animal Technologist (LATG) certification

Compensation
- $58,656.00 - $79,772.00 Minimum
- $58,656.00 Midpoint
- $69,000.00 Maximum
- The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking.
- A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding.
- At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
