About the role
- Containerization: Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS or AKS).
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily in AWS, with secondary responsibilities in Azure, using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure platform reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application architecture for the cloud.
Requirements
- Extensive AWS Experience (80%): Proven, hands-on experience with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, and Lambda.
- Deep knowledge of AWS networking and security.
- Microsoft Azure Experience (20%): Demonstrable experience with foundational Azure services, including Azure VMs, Blob Storage, Azure AD, and VNet.
- CI/CD Tools: Strong experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Nice to have
- Proficiency with tools like Terraform (preferred), CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with tools like Terraform (preferred), CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Skills
- Strong experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Ensure the security and compliance of the cloud infrastructure.
