Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand project scope, goals, and deliverables to translate creative concepts into actionable production plans.
  • Share insights, ideas, and solutions to assist in developing project timelines, budgets, and workflows, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned the process.
  • Support team members on multiple concurrent projects, contributing wherever needed to ensure success.
  • Request purchase orders, review invoicing, and manage reconciliation of project costs.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, problem-solve, and maintain composure in a fast-changing environment.
  • Anticipate potential challenges and proactively address them to maintain smooth workflows and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Must be local to the Detroit area and present in the Detroit office three to five days a week.

Nice to have

  • 6+ years of professional experience in live event production may be considered in lieu of a college degree.
  • A passion for Production and delivering impactful experiences.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Familiarity in working in event venues, with production companies, event staffing, unions, catering, etc.
  • Experience with AV, lighting, staging, etc.
  • Understanding of Video/Streaming Technology is a plus.
  • Experience as a stage manager and/or show caller is a plus.
  • Willingness to execute projects on weekends and evenings, when required.

Compensation

  • Travel Requirement: Up to 30% annually with the ability to travel to event sites for extended periods of time.
