About the role

  • TITLE: Assistant Manager, Product Development REPORTS TO: Director of Product Development LOCATION: Farmacy HQ in Mahwah, NJ (1300 MacArthur Blvd; ~45mins outside of NYC).
  • Hybrid, in-person 2 days per week on a set schedule (currently Wednesday and Thursday) and ad hoc as needed.
  • We believe good skin is rooted in healthy ingredients.

Responsibilities

  • Drive creation of skincare products throughout all PD lifecycle (formula development, safety + claims validation, creative concept, creative design brief, and market analysis).
  • Partner with R&D and cross-functional teams to define and write new product concepts, research and select both active and story ingredients, and coordinate regulatory and testing needs within the overall product timeline.
  • Coordinate, track and analyze all testing (safety, clinical, consumer panel, other) including test design and desired claims output.
  • Collaborate with Regulatory to ensure compliance of product formulae and claims.
  • Maintain and communicate weekly project status report.

Compensation

  • $71,000 - 89,000 per year (pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience).
