About the role

  • The Retail Floor Supervisor is a key leadership role responsible for opening and closing the store, supporting sales performance, delivering exceptional customer experience, and coordinating day-to-day store execution.

Responsibilities

  • Builds brand loyalty by promoting the rewards program and leads the team to achieve goals.
  • Merchandises designated areas of the store following brand guidelines, adapting as needed to support sales and visual impact.
  • Assign tasks as needed to team members to support achievement of daily goals.
  • Provide in-the-moment advice to Sales Associates and Sales Leads, updating the Store Manager regularly on performance.
  • Customer Centric Innovation: Leads the team in customer engagement and loyalty while sharing ideas to improve selling effectiveness.
  • Urgency for Impact: Assess store conditions and identify opportunities to improve visual presentation and store readiness to drive results. Ideas would be shared with Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Lifting and carrying, ability to maneuver and/or lift 25 lbs. regularly, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to push/pull full racks of merchandise for restocking the store.
  • Manual labor is required occasionally to assemble displays and/or rearrange the store layout.
  • Ability to use fine manipulation, and grasp with hands to sort and organize clothing, ex. place on hangers, folding, organize in color/size order.

Nice to have

  • Retail or customer-facing experience preferred but not required.

Skills

  • Helly Hansen is a leader in both technical sailing and performance ski apparel.

Compensation

  • Pay Range for this position is: $21-$25.75
