About the role

Review, negotiate, and coordinate execution of LGIP-related agreements
Identify and communicate risks associated with each interconnection queue and interconnection agreement.
Key participant in Avangrid's relationships with TO & ISO in a specific region.

Manage, research and secure interconnection positions for greenfield wind, solar, and storage sites in a specific transmission region
Coordinating siting of interconnection and transmission facilities; collaborate with Avangrid Project Delivery, Development Engineering and Operations groups
Oversee/manage performance of technical screening studies to determine interconnection feasibility.
In support of Avangrid's renewable projects and development pipeline, managing a portfolio of interconnection queue requests and managing the interconnection process from submittal to operation.

Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering, business or related field.
Minimum 6 years of industry experience in the following: generation development, interconnections, transmission planning or utility operations, and/or power marketing.
Experience and transmission system knowledge of ISO but experience in the non-organized WECC, ERCOT, and SERC markets is also beneficial.
